THE BEAK

Sterile disposable anal retractor, fenestrated with closed tip, with Multi Light handle. Its slightly conical shape, rounded end and perfectly circular section allow a painless introduction and a homogeneous and progressive expansion of the walls of the anal canal. Its wide longitudinal window ensures an optimal exposure of the pathology to be treated, while its wide external flanges determine the retention of the perianal skin, favouring a larger and more free vision. The Multi Light handle makes it easy to use different light sources, from the innovative Pen LED Light to the more traditional generator with optic fibre cable, ensuring optimal lighting in any condition.

The Beak retractor is also available in the diagnostic version which, thanks to its small dimensions, represents a particularly useful tool in outpatient use: ideal for the clinical staging of proctological pathology (tumours of the anus or the anal canal or of the lower rectum close to the toothed line, I.B.D., U.C. or Crohn’s disease) and in the most common parasurgical techniques. The diagnostic version of The Beak is also available in non-sterile packaging.
