BASILE’S CONE RETRACTOR

Conical anal dilator.

Basile’s Cone Retractor is an anal dilator designed to provide, thanks to its conical shape, a progressive dilation of the anal canal. It is provided with a double graduated scale, clearly visible inside the instrument, which allows the surgeon to assess exactly the extent of the anal spreading and the depth of lesions or anatomical finds in the anal canal.

It is a versatile instrument, which can be used in many surgical interventions:
• anal sphincterotomy;
• treatment of abscesses and fistula;
• anoplasty;
• haemorrhoidectomies;

Like all the Sapi Med retro-actors, the Basile’s Cone Retractor is equipped with a Multi Light handle that allows the use of different types of light sources, from the traditional optic fibre cable generator to the most modern LED illuminators.
